Jock Padgett joins Exia Labs as Advisor

Padgett brings expertise in DoD data, C2, and innovation to advance our mission toward mastering the science of war.

We’re very excited to welcome Jock Padgett as an advisor focused on Mission Command/C2 Systems and Design . Most recently, Jock was the Director of the Advanced Command and Control Accelerator (AC2A) within the Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (CDAO) at the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). He also previously served as the Chief Data Officer and then Chief Technology Officer of the U.S. Army XVIII Airborne Corps and as Chief Technology Officer of the 82nd Airborne Division.

Jock is an experienced technology and data leader with a demonstrated history in the defense and healthcare industries. He is skilled in innovation programs, strategic partnerships, technical solution design, IT strategy, IT operations management, and Mission Command/C2 Systems and Design.

Throughout his career, he has led several digital transformation programs, encompassing both people-focused and warfighting functions. His background includes operational roles and serving as a Department of Defense Highly Qualified Expert (HQE) through events in Afghanistan and Ukraine. His technical experience in delivering modern Command and Control (C2) capabilities to soldiers will be essential in advancing C2 capabilities and addressing key mission requirements.
