Introducing Our Geospatial Data Pipeline for Autonomous Orchestration

We have created a data labeling pipeline that labels, processes, and prepares data collected by autonomous systems to create spatial tiles that feed into our Blue spatial reasoning platform to enable autonomous planning and orchestration. We are thrilled to share that our data labeling pipeline has been deemed Awardable by the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace!
We built this pipeline to support Argus, our unmanned ground vehicle. Today, autonomous platforms collect vast amounts of environmental data through cameras, LiDAR, radar, and thermal imaging to support real-time navigation. Rather than just collecting this data for immediate navigation, we actively transform it for other autonomous systems and missions.
By leveraging multimodal projection and fusion algorithms, we convert this siloed sensor data into structured spatial tiles. These standardized, machine-readable tiles can be shared with other vehicles on the network mesh or saved for future missions. Orchestrating a fleet of autonomous systems requires a dynamic, shared reality, and our spatial tiles form the foundational layer for that coordination.
How It Works
We turn unstructured sensor data into spatial tiles through a four-phase process:
The Adapter Phase: Vehicle-specific loaders ingest and convert raw sensor data into a single, generic calibrated frame manifest.
The Model Phase: We generate camera-space labels, including detections, segmentations, tracks, key points, road masks, land cover classes, and relative depth.
The Projection Phase: Using calibration, pose, and sensor geometry, we project those camera-relative labels into a local flat-map coordinate system.
Scene Fusion: Finally, we combine multiple projected frames into a set of spatial tiles that make up a complete scene.
